Transition Bio

Transition Gospel Band (TGB) is a new gospel group praising God through a soulful blend of Kompa, Zouk, R&B and reggae music through innovative sounds. TGB brings sweet melodies and powerful lyrics that will uplift spirits, praise and worship and celebrate the wonders of our mighty God. TGB was started in 2009 by the talented Producer, Sound Engineer and Musician Reggie Noel a native of Cap Haitian, Haiti. Reggie knew very early on that his gift was music and his love for it allowed him to pursue and develop that gift throughout his early years of high school. While in high school Reggie became a member of a Haitian Christian Kompa band by the name of “Les realist” and soon became the Maestro of the band. After pursuing an education in Sound Engineering, Reggie quickly started mixing and producing music for various artists until one day the Lord revealed to him to produce for his own band. Every song written by Reggie has been inspired by his personal life experiences and his own testimony. Reggie has worked on a countless number of albums and projects with different artists/musicians in the Haitian Music Industry including Alan Cave, Ellie Lapointe, Nickenson Prudhome, Nixon Mesidor, and Prophete Esaie to name a few as well as some R&B artists.

Reggie’s quest for a Lead singer begun and after a few bumps along the way TGB finally welcomed Zacarie Bataille as its main vocalist. Zacarie a native of Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti has been singing in church as far back as he can remember. Zac or “Zac Attack” as he’s called by many is the Praise Team Leader at his church. He describes himself as a worshiper. His favorite artist is Donnie McClurkin. Josie Paul, another member of TGB is also a native of Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti is another vocalist on this project. A preacher’s daughter, Josie has been singing in church all her life. She is also a praise and worship leader at her church.

With their new album titled “Deliverance” TGB’s single mission is to wholly and unashamedly glorify God through each song. TGB believes that every song has a message for everyone. TGB also believes their innovative sound will attract the younger generation. TGB’s vision can be best described by one of the lines in their promotional intro: “Bondye nan syel la mete’n la pou’n ka ba li glwa, Bondye nan syel mete’n la pou’n pote lajwa” which simply means that “we have been put here to glorify God and convey a message of joy”.
